Mahaffey Motorsports offers a custom fan shroud made of aluminum. They are built to provide maximum potential for your radiator and fan combination. Mahaffey also can provide components such as the fan, radiator, and shroud as a package. When this package is used, an additional cap can be fabricated to provide a more finished product along the top of the radiator. Polishing to a near chrome finish is also available in house.

Mahaffey handcrafts each shroud himself from the specifications and information provided by the purchaser. There are two things on Mahaffey's mind as he creates his art. One is the workmanship, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The other is constantly striving to improve the product in any way possible. Mahaffey calls his work CUSTOM and that’s exactly what it is. There are so many different combinations of radiators and fans out there. The most common problem encountered is the area or space between the radiator and engine. The shrouds are a good-looking addition to any engine bay. But the real value is in the performance.

In an effort to constantly improve and maximize the performance of the Mahaffey Motorsports fan shroud, Wade takes his product to the next level as he looks for more CFMs. He uses a test chamber built in-house that he calls his “fan dyno.” It uses a Magnehelic Differential Pressure Gauge. With a fan and shroud in place, Wade can measure the air speed as it passes through the radiator core. The cylinder contains one cubic foot of volume. That allows the test chamber to provide the air speed in a measurement of cubic feet per minute. Wade custom fabricates a shroud for each fan of the different manufacturers tested, i.e., Flex-i-lite, Spal, and Zirgo, etc. His mission is to provide the best product possible. Wade will continue to evaluate and develop new components that will enhance the performance of the Mahaffey Motorsports fan shroud combinations!
